HILLTOP CHAPEL NEWSLETTER SPOTLIGHT
The Hilltop Chapel Newsletter was an infrequent information mailer in the early days, when the church was pastored by men who traveled up just for Sunday services from the San Joaquin Valley. The responsibility for the newsletter fell to Carmie Lambeth and other ladies of the church.
In 1990, when Steve Dresser became the full time pastor, he and his wife, Marilyn, took over the publication of the newsletter. They cranked it out on an old mimeograph machine. The newsletter has now been in continuous monthly publication for more than 40 years, with a monthly Pastor's Message, Did You Know ... article, Upcoming Events and a Church Event Calendar.
Pastor Rod is now editor-in-chief, with assistance from church members for the reproduction, stamping, labeling and mailing. The newsletter has gone out to nearly 300 homes and business every month and the feedback has been very positive. New contributors are always welcome.
